Listed here is my current price list for pet portrait commissions. Pricing is based on portraits in colored pencil with a white background and one subject. Prices are in €.

Consider whether you'd want a classic rectangular portrait, or a square portrait.

Please keep in mind that the sizes are in centimeters, the inches listed below are approximately.

Photo quality: Ensure that the photo is of good quality, with clear details and a high resolution. This helps me to accurately capture all the details and nuances in the drawing.

Lighting: Pay attention to the lighting of the photo. Photos with balanced lighting provide clear shadows and highlights, aiding in understanding the shapes and volumes of the subject.

Details and sharpness: Pay attention to the details and sharpness of the subject in the photo. The sharper and more detailed the photo, the easier it is for me to accurately depict the details in the drawing.

Perspective: Take note of the perspective of the picture. Choose a photo where the perspective matches what you want to achieve in the portrait, most of the time it is a photo from the front.

Keeping these aspects in mind when choosing a reference photo can help you lay a solid foundation for a successful drawing. Don't worry if your photo doesn't exactly meet all of these requirements. I also understand that not all pets are with us anymore and it is therefore not possible to take more photos. In that case, we work with what we have.
