Learn to draw with me!

For years I have practiced, experimented and learned to draw as I do now. And I would like to share my knowledge with you, so that you too can draw realistically with colored pencils.

Below you will find my tutorials where you can see in real time, step by step, how I make a drawing from start to finish.

Each tutorial comes with a PDF file containing links to the videos, reference photos, materials list and line drawing.

What to expect:

  • What you can learn:

    By following one or more tutorials you will get an insight into the process and techniques I use to make a drawing from start to finish. Various techniques will be used and I will give tips along the way.

    It is up to you to later apply the techniques in your own drawings.

  • What you need:

    In my tutorials I use pencils from Faber Castell (Polychromos) & Caran d'Ache (Luminance & Pablo's).

    A handy tool to have is the Slice Tool, I use it in almost every drawing.

    Each tutorial includes a materials list. You can view this before purchasing a tutorial

  • About the videos:

    The videos are not sped up. So you can follow the process step by step. You can always pause or rewind the videos.

    In the video I explain for example which color I use at that moment, what the technique is and why we use it. I also give some tips along the way. The color numbers of the pencils are also shown on the screen.
